Ichabod Crane Truck
I've always been fascinated by old machinery and the stories they tell, so when I stumbled upon a 1970 C50 truck with a crane in a field, I knew I had to bring it back to life. The truck had been sitting there for at least 10 years and was in rough shape, but I saw potential in it.
Along with a few friends, we started the restoration process by replacing the crane cable and a few parts. We had no idea if the truck would start or if the crane would work, but we were determined to make it happen. To our delight, as soon as the engine roared to life, the crane sprang to action.
We knew that the truck and crane would need a lot of work, but it was worth it. The truck and crane were now a functional part of the farm and provided much-needed lifting power. Over the next few months, we worked tirelessly to restore the truck and crane to their former glory.
The process was slow and at times, frustrating, but the end result was worth it. The truck and crane were now a valuable asset to the farm, and it was amazing to see how something that had been forgotten for so many years could be brought back to life.
